Christine Goff

1951 - 2014 Obituary Condolences
1951 ~ 2014
Our beloved mother, grammy, sister, aunt, and friend, Christine, passed away unexpectedly, on January 31, 2014 at the age of 62 and left all those who loved her completely broken hearted.
Christine was born on March 14th, 1951 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Jewell B. and Dolores E. Hoff. As a child, she moved with her family, making Utah her home. She graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School in 1969. She married Roy Goff in 1971, but later divorced. Together they had their only child, daughter Heather, who was the light of her life. She also loved and adored Heather's husband Gabriel, and their three children, Adison, Noah and Zane, who were her absolute pride and joy.
Christine was a guardian in life, whom many looked to as a source of inspiration on how to treat others. We came to her for honest advice, endless support, and unconditional love. Always a caregiver, she was the center of many circles, holding people together with her love and understanding. She gave so selflessly, that her daughter used to tease her that she was on the fast track to sainthood. The only thing she ever did wrong in life was leaving us too soon. Continuing our lives without Christine is hard to imagine, but we will cherish the many memories we have of her.
Proceeded in death by her parents, Jewell and Dolores, survived by her daughter Heather (Gabriel), grandchildren, Adison, Noah and Zane, brothers, Michael and Marvin, sister Corinne, nephews Paul and Obie, nieces Nicole and Stephanie, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Her family will be hosting a Celebration of Life in her honor on Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Hampton Inn and Suites located at 3923 West Center Park Drive, West Jordan, UT. Thoughts and memories will be shared at 3:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her honor to a charity close to her heart, Camp Hawkins, at any Zion's Bank.
I love you mommy, up to the sky - poke a hole.
