Elaine leaves a great legacy and a large absence. I remember her as a truly dedicated teacher; professional, effective in communicating her knowledge, concerned about her students, fun and approachable. I saw her as an unique individual, true to her own values and passions. Her contributions to her students, her town, and her family were considerable and uplifting. My sympathies to Terry, Barbara, and families for your loss.

Elaine was an excellent teacher! She was an ally for us "kids." I am so grateful that I was under her care in school. She was very honest and caring. And she was a wonderful mother to her kids. I'll always admire Elaine. She will be so missed by all of us Ephraimites. Thanks, Elaine. You're a dear lady. LaRue Hansen Bailey
