Maria Baxter Obituary

Maria "Zuza" Kramerova Baxter 9/7/1930~3/13/2003  Maria "Zuza" Kramerova Baxter, born September 7, 1930 in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 13, 2003. She went to join her beloved husband of 47 years, Hoyt H. Baxter, who passed away just 11 months ago.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a dear friend to many. Zuza attended the University of Geneva in Switzerland. She spoke seven languages fluently. She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing with her husband and family. She loved spending her winters in Palm Springs. Most of all, she loved exercising at the "Lifestyles 2000" spa in Orem. Zuza dearly loved her friends there. Her boundless energy inspired all who knew and loved her. She is survived by five children: Kenneth (Linda) Baxter, Las Vegas, NV; Radana (Corbin) Clark, Sandy, UT; David Baxter, Seattle, WA; Michael Baxter, San Francisco, CA; and Julie (Monte) Dansie, Price, UT. She had eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. At her request, graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2003 in the Orem City Cemetery, 1500 North 800 East. Friends and family may meet there. Services directed by Berg Mortuary.
