What do you say about my wonderful, loving person aunt? All of us within this large family are all thankful for others within this group, who also are very caring and loving.
I do remember years ago sitting in this large room with friends, funeral home in a different room I decided to go and see my mom one more time. As I got closer, I noticed 3 people in that room. As I approached my dad, I told him I wanted to see mom one more time. The loving and caring eyes of these other two people placed upon me will never be forgotten. Dad told me this was my aunt and uncle from my mom's side. I remember my aunt looking at me and saying honey that may not be a good idea. That she believed God would prefer, that I remember your mom and the goodtime. Years later I really know the right thing was done.
My aunt asked my dad a few days later, would it help if I stay a few more days. Relief hit the ground with those comforting works to dad.
Think at that point it would mean my uncle would be going back to Texas alone.
Aunt Dee you know today Mandy and I are saying welcome home. I know my brother and mom are happier now. Two souls leaving far too early. Those who knew my dad know what he would be asking, got any good food with you. If it has no taste to it, has to be good for you and no thanks.
My heart is heavy and hurting today. But we are all Children of God and all your pain and sadness without Uncle Dannie, are over.
Welcome home.
We will always miss you, knowing our love for you is always there.
Love you, Sheri and Mandy
