Charles Romey

Charles M. Romey (SSG, USA, Ret.), 62, passed away on June 6, 2013. Mr. Romey, originally from Richmond, IN, graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in English literature. He was a member of PSI KAPPA PSI fraternity. He eventually found his niche as an interrogator in the U.S. Army. He participated in several overseas operations to include MFO in the Sinai and Operation Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia and Iraq. For the last several years, Mr. Romey is survived by his wife, Constance; daughter, Megan; his sister, Patricia Bailey; her husband, Robert and their children; his brother, James Romey, his wife Barbara and their daughter. Mr. Romey will be remembered for his love of jazz, reading and coffee, his sense of humor, and his intense loyalty to family and friends. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 11:15am at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, followed by a reception at the True Life Church.
