Dan Walker

Dan Marc Walker, age 60, of Austin, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday the 21st of May. He was an incredibly intelligent and interesting person and in many ways, ahead of his time. He had many friends, and a fondness for and generosity toward those less fortunate than him. We are grateful for the time we had with him while he was with us and are happy that he is in his eternal home in heaven, however we will miss him deeply.

Dan served in the US Army at the end of the Vietnam War, and in Korea afterwards, as a radar specialist. After that he worked in California as an electrical engineer for several years, and then moved back to Texas to be closer to home.

Dan is survived by his brothers Rod, Greg, and Jeff, and his sister Cheryl. He is further survived by his aunt and uncle, Nadine and Robert Havard, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be held at Willow Hole Cemetery Chapel located at 12912 FM 1372, North Zulch, TX 77872 on Saturday, May 25, at 3:00 PM.
