David Medina

David Harold Medina, age 51, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. David was an avid traveler, always up for an adventure and exploring destinations near and far. He had a boundless enthusiasm and passion for life. Known as "Devi" by his many aunts, uncles and cousins, he was full of surprises and loved a good practical joke or mischievous prank. David loved to read and was a font of encyclopedic knowledge for people, places and things, which also brought about his love for trivia games. Mostly, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He inspired us all with his compassion, kind and generous heart, upbeat spirit, charming manner and beautiful smile. We will dearly miss our devoted son and step-son, loving brother, super cool and irreplaceable uncle, amazing cousin, wonderful nephew, best life partner and really great friend. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ana Marie Chadick. David is survived by his father, David M. Medina; step-father, Richard Chadick; sisters, Dyann Whittaker and husband Malcolm and Danita Thomas; nieces, Hannah Thomas, Jillian Whittaker and Annabeth Whittaker; his partner, John Lincoln.
A memorial service celebrating David's life will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at 11 a.m., First Protestant Church 172 W. Coll St., New Braunfels, Texas 78130.
