Elizabeth Newton

NEWTON
Elizabeth Glover Newton passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Beth was born in San Antonio April 9, 1957 to Suzanne Ott Felvey and Joe Glover. She was preceded in death by grandmother Sara Ott; mother, Suzanne Felvey; and brother, Joseph Glover. Survivors include husband, Larry Newton; father, Joe Glover and wife, Jenny; sisters, Sallie Hodde and husband, Russell; Katherine Felvey; Allison Balthrope and husband, Brett; Claire Spence; nieces, Lauren Neal; Brooke Spence; aunt, Lurton Ahroon and husband, Roger. Beth attended Cy-Fair high school in Houston, Alamo Heights in San Antonio, and the University of Texas in Austin. She married Larry Newton in 1977 and remained married until her death. Beth and Larry lived for many years on their ranch in Frio County where they bred and raised horses and cattle. Beth loved hunting, entertaining at the ranch, summers in Aspen, traveling with family and friends to Europe, Hawaii and around the world. An avid reader, Beth also produced beautiful needlepoint works to the delight of family and many friends.
