Frank Alcorta

ALCORTA
Frank Alcorta, born in Macdona, TX, was welcomed into the Kingdom of Our Lord Jesus Christ on July 4, 2013 at the age of 90. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Margarita C. Alcorta. Mr. Frank Alcorta served honorably in the United States Army, during WWII, as a Medic. After his service in the Army he worked at Kelly AFB for several years. Frank later decided to take advantage of his GI Bill and enroll in Barber School. He became a Master Barber and later opened and operated his own barber shop in the Southside of town, "Freeway Barber Shop", for 30 plus years. Frank eventually retired from his life as a barber and moved to Somerset, TX; a town he loved and enjoyed for the remainder of his life. Frank will be dearly missed by his children: Frank Jr., Jose and his wife Olivia from Racine, WI; Juan Manuel; Arturo and his wife Carolyn from Kenosha, WI; Sandra Belmarez and her husband Santos; Herlinda Rios and her husband Jesse; 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
SERVICES
Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Brookehill Funeral Home; with a Prayer Service to follow at 7:00 PM. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 12, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Somerset, TX. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Somerset, TX.
