Frankie Beal

Frankie Joe Beal, better known as Paw Paw or Joe, passed away at his home in San Antonio on April 29, 2013 at the age of 93. He leaves this world to join his beloved wife of 68 years, Wynona. He leaves behind his son, Ronald; daughter Beverly; daughter-in-law, Carol; son-in-law, Chris; grandsons Bryan and Ethan; grand-daughters, Kimberly and Laura; great-granddaughters Lily and Violette. He was born and raised in Whitney, TX during the great depression and learned early on the value of hard work on the family farm. He was a proud WW2 veteran and civil servant. Joe retired for the 1st time from Kelly A.F.B. as a work foreman after 38 years at the age of 58 years. He then retired for the 2nd time when he was 79. He was a Christian and devoted husband. Visitation will be at Sunset Funeral Home on Thursday, May 2 from 6 PM to 8 PM and services will be at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 3 at 9 AM.
