Harry Hamilton

HAMILTON
Major Harry Earl Hamilton, Jr., USAF (Ret.) left us on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. He served during WWII as a B-17 Navigator, and as a Weather Observer during the Korean Conflict. He married Sarah Louise Patterson in 1954. After retiring from the Air Force in 1963, Harry worked for the National Weather Service in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Slidell, Louisiana as a Meteorologist until he retired in 1989. He enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, swimming, and being with his family. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Earl Hamilton, Sr. and Mary Gallion Hamilton. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Louise P. Hamilton; children, Therry May, and her son; Harry E. Hamilton III and wife, Annette Canabal, and Byron W. Hamilton and his wife, Julia Sloan; grandchildren, Sarah, Karen, Gabriel, Alexander; and two great-grandchildren, Gavyn and Lily.
