Irma Iliana Garcia-Sanchez, born December 30, 1974 in Laredo, TX passed away November 9, 2012 at the age of 37. Irma was a vibrant, compassionate, loving person as well as a dedicated mother, wife, teacher and mentor who loved expressing her joy for life through dancing. She received her bachelor's degree from UTSA and earned a master's from the University of The Incarnate Word. Irma was currently teaching Science at Fox Tech High School in San Antonio. She loved her students and gave so much of herself to help them succeed in the classroom and in life. More than anything, she loved her family and really enjoyed spending time with them. Everyone who knew Irma, couldn't help but love her and she will be greatly missed. She leaves behind her loving husband of five years, Anthony; her precious children, Olivia Raquel and newborn baby, Diego Antonio; her parents, Jose Isidoro and Raquel Irma Garcia; her brother, Jose Angel Garcia, his wife, Maria Alejandra, and their son Jose Angel Jr; and numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 2:00 to 9:00 P.M. with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. in the Hillcrest Chapel. Family and friends will meet Friday, November 16, 2012 at the San Agustin Cathedral in Laredo, TX for a 10:00 A.M. Mass of the Resurrection.
