Johnny Anthony 59, whom resided in Rosamond, California entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 17, 2013. He was born on September 27, 1954 in San Antonio Texas and preceded in death by his parents Alfred Anthony and Lydia Uriegas Anthony and two Brothers, Alfred and Arturo. He is survived by his wife Celia Anthony and children Bernadina Reyes (Rene), Sophia Gonzales, Reinaldo Garza Jr., and grandchildren Rene, Julian, and Hayden. He is also survived by his Tia Celia Morales, Tio Gilbert Morales, and Tia Vina Huerta, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Johnny proudly served his country in the US Army from 1971 to 1974 and dedicated his life as a Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory Technician in the US Air Force for 34 years. Johnny further contributed to the men and women of the armed services as the Hispanic Employment Program Manager. Visitation will be at Southside Funeral Home, on Wednesday, November 27th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, November 29th, for catholic mass to be celebrated at St. Leonard's Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
