Juan Aguirre

PFC Juan R. Aguirre, U.S. Army veteran born on October 20, 1926 in San Angelo, TX went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2011 at the age of 84. He proudly served the United Sates Army during World War II and was assigned to the 492nd Air Service Group where he transported equipment and supplies for military use. He received the Army Occupational Medal and the World War II Victory Medal . He is preceded in death by his son, John Aguirre, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Victoria C. Aguirre; son, Richard C. Aguirre (Rosa Linda); daughters, Sylvia C. Aguirre, Cynthia A. Radi (Iyad), and Michelle A. Salazar (Manuel); 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brother, Frank Aguirre; sisters, Rebecca Moya and Celia Barron. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service that same evening. Procession will depart from the funeral home on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. for a Funeral Service to be conducted at 11:00 a.m. at Primera Iglesia Bautista Fundemental Mexicana.
