KAUFFMAN
Lois Nadine Kauffman passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at her home. A service for the celebration of her life will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Fellowship Bible Church in San Antonio.

Nadine was born and raised in Afton, Texas to WT & Irene Blasingame along with her brothers Durwood and Darrel Blasingame and her sister Glenna Ross. She and her husband, Lewis Kauffman, who preceded her in death in 1988, moved to San Antonio with their daughters, Darlene and Gale in 1957. Nadine was a member of Northside Church of Christ. She and her husband loved to take trips to South Padre Island and Big Bend. Nadine was an artist, gourmet cook and gardener. She loved horse races and was half owner of a race horse. She also taught exercise classes for numerous years with a wonderful group of ladies.

Nadine loved life and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There were never too many hugs and kisses, she spoiled them and would do anything for them. The family would like to thank all who gave care and prayers for Nadine, especially the staff at Emeritus Kingsley Place. They called her "Blue Eyes" and loved her for her colorful language and sense of humor.

She was a great lady with a loving heart. She touched a lot of lives and will be missed by many. Nadine is survived by Darlene and Bobby Margo, Gale and Bill Norman, grandchildren Rebecca and Scott Aldrich, Melissa and Willie Dylla, Grace, Sarah, Benjamin and Samuel Norman, great-grandchildren Madison and Jackson Aldrich, Ethan, Peyton and Mason Dylla.
