Neill W. Allen, age 80, passed away suddenly at home on November 2, 2007, in San Antonio, TX. He was born August 22, 1927, in Houston, TX, and attended school there, graduating from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1945. He married Betty Jean Zaboroski on July 27, 1956, in Houston, TX. Neill was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Corinne Allen and the love of his life, spouse Betty Jean Allen. He is survived by his daughters, Donna Kuykendall and her husband David, and Gloria J. Crowley and her husband Wes; granddaughters Ashley Marie Hulme and Haley Marie; and grandson Grayson Allen; as well as other family members and numerous friends. Neill's focus was always on his wife and family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He will always be close to us in our hearts. His wife and daughters thought of him as being the best husband and father in the world. Mr. Allen was a member of the Canyon Lake United Methodist Church and a 22-year member of the Fraternal Order of Elks. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing the municipal courses in and around the San Antonio area. Neill also designed, built, and flew remote-controlled airplanes. He was a member of San Antonio Propbusters and the Academy of Model Aeronautics. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1954 and served proudly until his discharge in 1959.
