Norma Baros Allison-Burgess

Norma Baros Allison-Burgess, much-loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died peacefully on December 11, 2008. She was born May 4, 1924, at Zig Zag, Medina County, TX to Mary Nowlin Baros and Rudy James Baros. She married Michael H. Allison in 1942. They were married for 44 years. She loved to dance and belonged to the Stardusters and Lamplighters. Norma was the past president of the Castle Hills Women's Club, past president of Alpha Zeta Delphian Society and Chaplain for two years of Delphian Past President Round Table. She was a Charter Member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and formed the St. Elizabeth Circle of Holy Spirit's Altar Society. Norma is survived by her husband, Richard C. Burgess, Sr. of San Antonio; daughter Martha Boyle; granddaughter Betsy and Andy Harris; grandson Christopher Boyle; great-granddaughters Brandi and Ryan Kemp and Brittany Lang, all of Lubbock, TX. Also a stepson, Richard C. Burgess, Jr.; and two granddaughters, Samantha and Amanda of San Antonio, TX. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 15, from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Porter Loring North Chapel. ROSARY
