Raymond (Ray) Salvador Bertolino, 77, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at his home in Cedar Park, Texas surrounded by his children. Ray was born on June 19, 1935 to Giacomo Bertolino and Maggie (O'Neal) Bertolino in Century, Florida. He was the sixth oldest of nine children.

Ray retired from the United States Army in 1981 as a Sergeant First Class, and received many service medals, decorations and commendations for his service for his country, including several awards for his dedicated service in the Vietnam War. Although he had many accomplishments while serving his country, his biggest accomplishment and what made him the happiest was raising and loving his family. Ray will be missed dearly, but never forgotten. He was loved very, very much.

Ray is survived by his son, Tony Ray Bertolino; daughter, Tara Lyn Bertolino; son, Raymond Salvador Bertolino, Jr.; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; five siblings; and many other nieces, nephews and relatives. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Giacomo Bertolino and Maggie (O'Neal) Bertolino; one sister, Frances Bertolino Tindell; and two brothers, Michael Salvador Bertolino and Jack Anthony Bertolino.

Memorial services and burial will be held at 3:00 pm, Monday, January 28, 2013 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Ray will be receiving full U.S. Military Honors.
