Robin Stone

Robin de Veaux Stone was born in San Antonio, TX on July 3, 1935. She was the second daughter of Harold "Duke" Coulter and Frances Biddle Coulter. She was raised by her beloved aunt, Julia Biddle and she attended Alamo Heights High School where she learned to play and love the game of tennis. She married Ralph H. Stone in 1955 and had two sons, Ralph Scott and Ryan Joel. They were married for 25 years until Ralph's death in 1991. Robin was proud to be one of the first employees of USAA beginning on Ft. Sam Houston working though the Broadway years and finally retiring from the Fredericksburg location after 40 years in 1994.
Robin was laid to rest on April 2, 2013. She is survived by her son, Ryan and her grand-daughter, Jordyn Rae, her sister, Frances "Cisse" Horton, nephews Shields Horton, Michael Horton, nieces Hillary Nelsen and Harmony Mullins. "We will miss her charisma and her zest for life."
Arrangements have been made with Mission Park Funeral South on S.E. Military Drive for Saturday 4/6/13 at 3:00 for memorial services. Reception dinner following the memorial at 6:00 PM at the Beethoven Maennerchor Halle, 422 Pereida St, San Antonio, TX 78210.
