Susan Collins Obituary
Dr. Susan Bryan Collins, 68, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away November 2, 2016. She was born in Oneonta, New York on May 12, 1948. She attended the University of Texas at Austin where she received both a Master of Music and a Doctor of Musical Arts. She was married to Michael J. Collins on August 18, 1973.
She is survived by her husband and her daughter, Katherine A. Collins.
Susan devoted her passion for music to a lifetime of service with the United Methodist Church in the music ministries. She was especially passionate to lead The Glory Ringers hand bell choir and participate in the sanctuary choir. The funeral service will be at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church; 2738 Mac Arthur View, San Antonio, TX 78217 on Wednesday, November 9th at 9:00 am with burial to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
