Sylvia A. Airheart

Sylvia Ammons Airheart had lived for 92 full and blessed years when she met God on May 29, 2007. She was a prominent educator and church leader in Asheville, North Carolina, until she became a converted Texan 14 years ago. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Airheart, and a sister, Mary C. Ammons, numerous loving friends and four devoted caregivers: Maxine Walter, Ana Morteo, Maurecia Ayala, and Rosanna Gonzalez. Services and interment will be in Mars Hill, North Carolina. Memorials are appreciated and requested to be directed to the Cancer Therapy and Research Center of San Antonio, in lieu of flowers, or to the charity of your choice.
