Thelma Beachy

Thelma E. Beachy went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2013. Thelma was born on October 13, 1935 in Guatemala C.A, to Julio and Elena Samayoa. She was a school teacher and a secretary in the Police Academy in Guatemala City for many years. In San Antonio Thelma devoted 15 years as a Dietary Aide, at Silver Creek Manor. She is survived by 2 sons; John and Joe Beachy, 3 brothers; Raul, Gus Anibal, and Edwin Samayoa, and 5 sisters: Rina Beachy, Dina Mallozzi, Lizbeth Perez, Dalila S. Russell, and Iris Suchite. Thelma was a loving and devoted mother, sister and friend to many. She left a great legacy of integrity, modesty, and love. We the family thank all her friends and caregivers at Vitas Hospice and Silver Creek Manor for their love and support. A special thanks to friends Isabel Gutierrez and Mary Brett, and to Dr. Montemayor at Gonzaba Medical Group for the wonderful care. She is preceded in death by parents Julio & Elena Samayoa and brother Chusito Samayoa. A memorial service will be held at Silver Creek Manor on July 28, 2013 at 9:30am.
