Theodore "Ted" Ford, age 60, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2012 in Dubuque, IA. He was a man of many and varied interests and enjoyed his life to the fullest for as long as it lasted. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Fadness; a son, David (Katherine); brothers, J. Scott (Shayne) and Bradley; sisters, Lisa Hendrix (Craig), Kimberly Duncan (Kim J.) and Christi Huffman; grandson Fasten Ford; and mother, Bernadine Ford. He also leaves behind nine nieces, seven nephews, many grandnieces and grandnephews, plus numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter J. "Jim" Ford and sister, Ellen Vaeth.
Growing up as a member of an Air Force family, Ted's childhood was spent roaming the world and eventually arriving in Austin, TX, where he graduated from Lanier High School in 1971. After serving 6 years in the Army, he returned to Austin and graduated from the University of Texas
with a degree in Communications. He later settled in San Antonio and spent the past 17 years as a videographer with Education Service Center-Region 20, retiring in May.
In accordance with Ted's wishes, there was no public visitation or funeral service.
