Warren Rasmussen

RASMUSSEN
Warren John Rasmussen passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on February 29, 1924 in Appleton, Wisconsin to Holger R. and Eva Dean Rasmussen. Mr. Rasmussen was a member of the United States Air Force for 27 years where he served in World War II, the Korean War and Viet Nam. After his military career, Mr. Rasmussen entered Civil Service for 15 years as Commissary Officer, Commissary Management Specialist. After retirement, he enjoyed seeing the Green Bay Packer games, cruising and was a member of the Optimist Club. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Faye Rasmussen; children, Sheryl Autrey of Wilkesboro, North Carolina; Dean & Suzette Rasmussen, grandsons Derek and Zachary of Raymore, Missouri; Gerald & Melody Rasmussen, grandsons Alexander & Nicholas of Wilmington, North Carolina; step-daughters, Martha & David Vogel, grandsons Bryan & Jim, granddaughter Emily of Lenexa, Kansas; Lynn Taylor and grandson Jacob of Charlotte, North Carolina; Karin & Bobby Scheihing, grandsons Jeremy & Zachary, granddaughters Shelbi, Taylor, Madeline, Juliana, of San Antonio, Texas; 4 great-grandchildren, nieces and many friends.
