William "Dale" Nalley, 82, of New Braunfels, TX, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013.
He graduated from Harlandale High School in 1948 and attended North Texas State for a couple of years. He was a Korean War
Veteran, serving in the United States Coast Guard
. Dale was also a Life Member of San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, Souvenier Program & Ambassadors, and Frontier Club member. He loved to play golf and going deer hunting. Dale was an awesome country western dancer and went dancing almost every night for the first ten years of his marriage. Dale sold cars and 18-wheelers most of his life. He worked for Janoe Kenworth for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Nalley and Jewel (Wood) Nalley, and his brother, Donald Nalley. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Jean Nalley; daughter, Ronnah Nalley Stabenow (Wayne); step-son, Charles Wallace (Jana); sister, Mary Jane Nalley; grandchildren, Kyle Egger, Brandon Schubert, Tristan Wallace, Taylor Wallace; 3 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Linda Nalley; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Ted and Louise Hager of Dallas, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2013 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
