Ernest Lozano

Ernest G. Lozano, a native of San Antonio, went to live with God February 27, 2013. Ernest graduated from Sidney Lanier High School. After honorably serving his country in the United States Army, he opened El Bosque Mexican Restaurant with his wife in 1973. Ernest had a passion for antique automobiles and the San Antonio Spurs. He was a member of San Fernando Cathedral. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Julia G. Lozano, Father, Leo Lozano, three brothers and one sister: Arturo De la Fuenta, Emilio Lozano, Elva Quijano, and Gilbert Lozano. He is survived by his wife Maria del Carmen, two sons, Ernest Jr. of San Antonio, David (Susan) of Warner Robins, GA, and his daughter Virginia (Joseph) Howard of Houston, TX. He was blessed with one granddaughter,Grace Elizabeth, of Warner Robins, GA. Visitation will begin Sunday March 3, 2013 at 5pm at Delgado Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7:00pm. Funeral procession will depart Monday, March 4, 2013 at 8:15am for a funeral mass at San Fernando Cathedral at 8:45am. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
