I would like to say that My Mama was a really good woman ..

We argued a lot when I was a teen , and after I had My kids but the older I got the better we got along..

We had a lo of the same interests, although we did not agree politically so we just didn't go there.
She always had good advise for anyone who wanted help. and for some that didn't But she really had a beautiful big heart.. And I will miss her forever.. Becki Vitek Shields

Dick- I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Virginia. I have a world of memories of her sound advise and sense of humor. I think she really cared about me and she definitely helped me many times in trying to understand what was happening as I grew up. She was very wise. I feel blessed to have been around the Viteks....you and Virginia as you helped to shape my life. How can I forget the many evenings with "Mama and Papa" and all the Viteks, Uncles, Aunts, kids....eating, drinking, telling stories, singing, dancing, talking politics, laughing...thank you all for such good memories. I miss it all so much, and mama was the one who really made it all possible. I miss the Viteks and I wish you and your family all the best, Dick. Love, Johnny

My thoughts and prayers are with the Vitek family, especially Laurie, in this time of loss. May fond memories soon replace your sorrow as your remember how much Mrs. Vitek enriched your lives. She was a very charming, gracious person who always made guests feel welcome and a part of her extended

We are very sorry that we won't be able to give you our condolences in person. The Vitek house was a second home to us for many years. I've found myself quoting Mama Vitek many times to my mostly grown kids and their friends. She was a great person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

There is no way for anyone to know how this family touched my life when I was young. They were ALWAYS there for me in my less than perfect childhood. Mama always had words of wisdom to share and was always right. She was "mama" to many, many kids as I grew up. Papa was always quiet but strong. This is a very loving and unique family that accepted everyone into their lives without passing judgement. They were always there to help and I learned alot from them.
Mama's passing will leave a huge void in this family and for her friends, but she has left many memories to be cherished by all who knew her and she will NEVER be forgotton. Rest in peace Mama.
My VERY deepest sympathies the the family of "Mama" Vitek.
