Mark Carroll Obituary
Mark D. Carroll, born March 2, 1964, departed this world on March 18, 2012 at the age of 48. He is preceded in death by his father Raymond Carroll, Sr. and cousin Melvin Sayers, Jr. He is survived by his spouse of 10 years Norma Jean Carroll, mother Ila Morrison (Bill), sons Colton Carroll and Raymond Vallado (Melissa), daughters Iris Vallado (John), Destinee Haines (Steven) and Mercedes Haines (Mariah), brother Raymond Carroll, Jr. as well as 6 grandchildren and his beloved cat Church. Mark was an avid Redskins fan who also loved NASCAR as well. Visitation will begin Friday, March 23, 2012 at 3pm with a prayer service to be held at 7pm. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 10am at the Castillo Mission Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow at First Memorial Park. Services under the direction of:

Uhh where to begin.. I hate that I have to go through this crazy life without u here. I miss the late night runs to go get us fast food lol. Or how I'd bribe you to go put gas in my truck and that if buy u food lol. Oh and tell me why I know ur up there in time out because of your football team. ..I'd give anything to hear you cursing out the TV. During a football game. I just miss u so damn much! I love u bunches! My heart just aches. Your grand babies are so big now! Erikh is 20!!! Wero (Lj) is gonna be 10 . And Gia Bella is 8. Wero eats the way u did..lol a lot!!!

Ila, wish you would call me. It's been 16 years this month that we lost Chris and it still hurts. I have learned so much in that 16 years spiritually. I'd give it all back for another day with my son, but I finally realize that it definitely was in God's plan. Love you and wish I could help.

dad i wanted you to know that im letting my hair grow out so that i can donate it to other cancer patients, i remember you cried when you first got cancer and you said you didnt want your hair to fall out, and i told you i would go completely bald just for you, and i remembered you smiled and said i know you would baby..you did so much for me an now its my turn to give back and donating my hair is a good way to show my appreciation for you. and im gonna add more to the cancer tattoo i have with your name, its gonna look a lot prettier. i know im not the greatest kid you had, but i tried, and i want you to just be proud of me. i miss you so much, but i try to stay strong for my mom, and not show her that im hurting without you. but im gonna be strong for everyone. i love u dad.and please wait for me at those huge pearly white gates..and erikh says you have really big wings cause your too tall for small ones.:) erikh misses you like crazy, he lays in your bed, and torments us about how you said hes the man of the house..lol

Mark was a great friend and co-worker. He was a dedicated employee, even in the 100+ degree weather out on the Flight Line, he was always getting the planes out(KC-10), no matter how sick he was feeling. He never complained. He was a good guy. I know he is busy working the Flight Ramp in Heaven. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family during their time of grief. God will get you through this.

Mark was a great friend to work and hang out with. He always had fun in all he did. Even during his illness, Mark was always upbeat.
