Emma Appelt Obituary

APPELT
Emma Irene Appelt went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at the age of 90 years. Emma was born on April 19, 1920 in Yorktown, Texas to Stanley Wollney and Petronella Moy Woolney. Emma was along time resident of San Antonio and Converse and was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 70 years George Appelt, children; Gerrie McMahan and husband Clyde, George G. Appelt and wife Rhonda, Roger Appelt and wife Diane, and Mike Appelt and wife Shirlene, a sister, Magdalen Carter, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews , and other loving family members and friends.
S E R V I C E S
Visitation will be held at Dellcrest Funeral Home on Friday, February 4, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 1:30 PM at St. Monica's Catholic Church, 515 North Street, Converse, Texas with interment to follow at St. Jerome Catholic Cemetery. For personal acknowledgment you may sign the guest book at www.missionparks.com in the obituary section.
