Alvin Scheel

SCHEEL
Alvin (Butch) Scheel Jr. was born March 20, 1940 in San Antonio, Texas to Rose Mary Simon Flynn Scheel, and Alvin Scheel Sr. Alvin Built Custom Homes for 47 years, only retiring for health reasons. He never advertised, he got all of his work through customer referrals. Many of his close friends were once customers. He was also a member of the Bexar County Mounted Sheriff's Posse. Alvin is survived by wife Charline and, they would have been married 50 years on June 9th, daughter Karen Whelchel of Elmendorf, TX, step daughter Marsha Corringan of Denton, Tx. sons Kevin and Lori, and Kyle, Elmendorf, TX. Grandchildren, Reva, Justin, Jessica, Joshua, Matthew, Krystal step grandchildren Kasi & Coby, four great-grandchildren, sisters Marie Johnson of Devine, TX., Genevieve Kling of Gonzalez, LA., and brother William Scheel of San Antonio, TX. along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Alamo Hospice. SERVICES
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2010 from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. at Dellcrest Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 10:00 A.
