Carmen Anguiano Obituary
Carmen "Cookie" Anguiano, born on August 15, 1949 went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2013 at the age of 63. She was preceded in death by her father, Tony Anguiano. She is survived by her mother, Petra Hernandez Anguiano; sisters, Maria Romero and Minerva Martinez; loving friends and caregivers, Victoria and George Lopez; extended family and friends. Cookie worked for the State of Texas for over 26 years until her retirement. She was the first licensed woman painter for the State. She continued with a career in Security for another 15 years. Cookie enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. She will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held this evening, Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with the recitation of Rosary at 7:00 P.M. in the Hillcrest Chapel. Family and friends will meet on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Poteet United Methodist Church (249 N. 4th Street, Poteet, TX 78065) for the Funeral Service at 10:00 A.M. Officiating: Pastor Joseph L. Berkley, Sr. Procession will follow service for interment at First Memorial Park. Arrangement with:
