Chester Joseph Gonsowski, 70, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. Chester resided in Corpus Christi, Texas with his wife Sylvia Aldape Gonsowski. He was loving father to Jessica Wolff, Sylvia Gonsowski, and Lisa Buchanan and was grandfather to 5 beautiful children. Chester was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on January 13, 1942 to parents Chester and Josephine Gonsowski (deceased), and was brother to Josephine Blagovich, Raymond Gonsowski, and Christopher Gonsowski. Chester was a Captain in the airforce and served proudly in the Vietnam War. He was a professional mechanical engineer and worked on many projects throughout Texas. Memorial burial site services for Chester will be held on Friday, November 30, at 2:30pm at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
