DORN
Our beloved father, Donald Earl Dorn, born September 1, 1935, in Los Angeles, CA, passed away peacefully with family by his side May 4, 2013. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War 1954-1957. With his genius mind he helped design the C5A airplane along with the water system for Kelly AFB along with many other structures. After his years of playing baseball, and basketball at Kelly AFB he acquired a passion for the game of golf. He helped establish the Weekenders Golf Club organization and was a member for over 25 years. He was a fanatic Florida Gator fan and loved his San Antonio Spurs and Green Bay Packers. If you needed to know the stats of any sport Don was the man to turn to. He is survived by his sons; Joseph, Todd & Elliot Dorn and daughter; Jene' Miller and her husband, Tim, and Liz Dorn of San Antonio, TX; brother-in-law, James Wiggen; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Dorn & Velma Wolfmeyer, and sister, Joann Wiggen. THE SMARTEST MAN YOU'LL EVER KNOW! HE WAS ALSO ONE OF THE MOST HONEST, AND GIVING INDIVIDUALS YOU WOULD EVER MEET. Rest in peace, Dad.
