SALAS
Doroteo M. "D.M." Salas was born on August 28, 1932 and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the age of 80. "D.M." as most may know him, worked 42 years at Kelly Air Force Base as a Section Chief. He served his country many years ago as an active duty U.S. Marine during the Korean War and as a MSGT in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. There are no words to thank him for his service. The government honored him with many awards and medals; we honor him with our love. D.M. was preceded in death by his parents, Ladislado and Petra Salas and brother-in-law Gibby Hernandez. He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Diana G. Salas; children, Sandra Salinas and husband, Richard; Adriana Salvatierra and husband, Eric; Louis A. Urrabazo and wife, Clarissa; sister, Maria Elena Bautista and husband, Javier; brother-in-law, Felipe Gonzales, Jr. and wife, Nora; sister-in-law, Dalia Hernandez; grandchildren, Sean, Kevin, Kyle, Shannon, and Patrick Salinas, Jason and Brianna Salvatierra and many nephews, nieces, and friends. D.M. Salas will be greatly missed, but will live in our hearts forever. The family wishes to thank the doctors, staff and auxiliary at Main Methodist Hospital.
