I am thinking of you and your family at this very sad time. Your Mom was always a delightful and lovely, lovely lady. She always had a ready smile and a hug if you needed one. She will be missed.
Love to all, Shirley

Dear Candy and Chuck,
Please accept my condolences on the death of your beloved mother. She was so beautiful and regal with her fabulous hair and posture. She had a wonderful smile that made me feel so welcome when I would visit her art gallery. I bought my first piece of art from her, and display it proudly to this very day.
I will miss her, but know that her last few years were very difficult.

Dorothy Katz had an enormous influence on my life. She was gracious, knowledgeable, and interested in all aspects of life. I worked at Sol del Rio Gallery from 1975 until 1979 when I returned to teaching. Every day was a delight to be with Mrs. Katz in her gallery. She & Mr. Katz hosted wonderful gallery openings and brought artists, craftsmen and the public together in a delightful fashion. Although it has been almost 30 years since I last visited with Mrs. Katz I have never forgotten her.
I offer my condolences to Candy, Chuck, Steve and their families at the loss of their mother and the great lady that she was.
