Frances Merle (Montgomery) Bosanko of Stockdale, TX was born March 23, 1933 to Emory and Myrtie (Smith) Montgomery. She passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the age of 80 years. Merle is preceded in death by her husband Daniel Bosanko; parents; brother, Dudley Montgomery. Merle was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and room mother. She loved to garden, take photographs, and watch the hummingbirds. She was crowned Queen Melon XI of the Stockdale Watermelon Jubilee in 1954. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Gabrysch and husband Fabian of Beaumont, TX, Brenda Moore and husband Ronnie of La Vernia, TX; granddaughters, Jennifer Fitzgerald and husband John of Keller, TX, Janet Gabrysch of San Marcos, TX; sister-in-laws, Eula Montgomery of Stockdale, TX, Margaret "Sue" Rhoads of La Vernia, TX, JoAnn Bosanko of Stockdale, TX; brother-in-law, L.E. "Butch" Bosanko and wife Majorie of Stockdale; numerous nieces and nephews; wonderful caretakers Gloria Cortez, Valarie Uriegas, Janice Krueger, and Sandra Ibrom; dear friend Shirley Neill. The pallbearers will be Patrick Crumrine, David Campbell, Victor Marquez, Terry Wong, James Land and Owen "Butch" Freasier. The honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Montgomery, Jodie Montgomery, Tim Ricks, Ronnie Ricks, Thom Ricks and Steve Ricks.
A visitation will take place Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 5pm to 8pm at Finch Funeral Chapel-Stockdale.
