In 2013, on an a transatlantic cruise, we met the most wonderful couple, Bill and Linda. It was an instant friendship that followed us back to San Antonio and forever became part of our lives. So many dinners, Las Vegas and more cruises. Bill had a wonderful smile, so positive on life and his devotion to Linda. We will miss him very much.

Mr. Hays was a very kind and generous man and I've really admired his relationship with his children (whom I attended KU with many years ago now). My thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to your family.

"O' Lord, support us all the day long, until the shadows lengthen and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over, and our work is done. Then, in thy mercy grant us a safe lodging, and a holy rest, and peace at last." Old English prayer for my beautiful friend whose memory I will treasure forever.

I went to elementary school as well as middle and high school with Bill. He lived down the street from me on Gardiner Lane while we were in elementary school. I saw him at our 45th reunion. Bill was a really nice guy and I am so sorry for your loss.
