Ida Pratt Obituary
Ida Copeland Pratt, age 77, formerly of Beeville, Texas, died November 16, 2010 in Tempe, Arizona. She was born in Karnes City, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Le Roy Pratt of Tempe, Arizona, her children, Rick Hotman (Ramona) of Yoakum, Texas, Kim Hotman-Harris (Ian), Copie Hotman-Redus (Tracey) and Tryce Hotman (Paula), all of Pflugerville, Texas, and Dave Pratt (Cindy) of Chandler, Arizona and Pam Griffith of Queen Creek, Arizona; Seven grandchildren, Brian Hotman, Chris Hotman, Bonnie Hotman-Pehl, Beau Finch, Kit Shaw, Sean Hotman-Harris, Kelsey Hotman-Harris and four great-grandchildren. Brothers Dan Puckett (Jerry) of San Antonio, Texas and Eddie Puckett of Houston, Texas. Father and stepmother, A.E. "Bert" and Docie Copeland, Brother Lydell Puckett and daughter, Lora Gaye Shaw preceded her in death.

Ida was a good friend. She helped me through some rough times in my life and I will always be grateful. I'll never forget our Lemon Tree lunches and hoping for that perfect parking place. My deepest sympathy and love to her family.

Where do you start in remembering a friend like Ida? In looking at her picture I remember that beautiful face and hair and how perfect she always looked in public. We always enjoyed being together whether at work or play and especially when Ida made her famous fried chicken. My love and prayers go to her family and especially her children who have lost their best friend. God was good to Ida and stopped her suffering but left us here on earth to suffer from her lost. My thoughts and prayers are with you and thank you again Copie for reuniting your Mom and I. What a blessing to be able to tell my friend goodbye and that I love her and to hear her say "I love you more". Rest in peace my dear loving friend.
