Irene Camber Moczygemba, born June 3, 1919 passed away December 6, 2012. Irene grew up in Cestohowa. She was a devout Catholic and attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church when she married Leonard Moczygemba in 1945. They lived in Falls City and were owners of City Tailors and Dry Goods store for over thirty years. Irene continued operating the business after her husband died at the age of 59 in 1974. Irene loved to cook, bake, make canned goods and was a meticulous seamstress. In addition, she loved helping at the annual Falls City parish picnic. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters Society, Altar Society, Rosary Circle, Chamber of Commerce and involved in Community Service. In 2005, the Altar Society awarded her the 50th prestigious Honor Award for her dedicated and loyal service. She is survived by her children Clifford Moczygemba & wife Yvonne, Roger Moczygemba, Barbara Hoffmann & husband Pat, Billy Moczygemba & wife Eleanor; Grandchildren: Daryl Hoffmann, Michael Moczygemba, Mandi Leary, Chris Moczygemba, Matthew Moczygemba, Stephanie Lambert, Mollie Moczygemba; Great Grandchildren: Morgan Moczygemba, McKenan Moczygemba, Beau Moczygemba, Brandy Nunez, Brent Nunez, Harrison Leary. Irene is preceded in death by her Husband Leonard; Sister Anne Titzman; Brother Henry Camber; Mother Rosie Kroll Camber; Father Louis Camber; Grandson Kevin Moczygemba; Great Grandson Graham Warner Leary. Serving as pallbearers will be Daryl Hoffmann, Michael Moczygemba, Matthew Moczygemba, Christopher Moczygemba, Ira Leary, Lester Moczygemba & John Moczygemba. A rosary will be recited at 6 PM, Sunday December 9, 2012 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Falls City, Texas. The funeral mass will be celebrated 10 AM, Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Church. Interment will follow in the Falls City Cemetery. The funeral services are entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home, Inc. of Karnes City where the on-line guestbook may be signed at rhodesfuneralhomeinc.com.
