I met Pete at daily Mass. He asked once if I was a deacon and I told him, no, but I was in formation to become one. After that, Pete always asked how my classes were going and said he was praying for my success. A truly holy man. Many of his fellow worshipers were concerned when he was no longer able to attend daily Mass and kept Pete in constant prayer as he underwent his final illness.
It was a pleasure and a privilege to know Pete, I wish I had known him all my life. May he rest in peace!

While caring for Mr. Clarkson for the last two months, we had amazing conversations about God, and Jesus. He shared many of his books with me and had me reading some of them while he napped. It was an honor to care for Him.
