Ramiro Ramirez Obituary

1944 - 2015
Our beloved "RAY" went to be with our LORD in heaven and was reunited with his father, Ramiro C. Ramirez and son, Jason on Jan. 17, 2015 at the age of 69. Ray was a member of Holy Cross High School's 1st graduating class in 1962 and proudly served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He had a deep passion for fishing, hunting, and camping. He served in the Knights of Columbus in Charlotte, N.C. and also served as a scout leader.
He spent 40 years in the I/T industry and was an exceptional Data Processing Network Specialist retiring from FISERV in Dallas in recent years. He is survived by his mother (Guadalupe B. Ramirez), wife (Marilyn), stepdaughters (Diana and Carla), stepson (Micah), sons (David, Steven, Nicolas), daughter (Elizabeth "Dee Dee"), brothers (Eddie, Robert and Brian), and sister (Cynthia Jasso) and all their respective family members.
Ray found Christ on Jan. 18, 1979 and became passionate in spreading the Word, so that others could come to know the Lord. His Mother will always cherish Ray for being instrumental in introducing her to Christ, which changed her life immensely. He will be forever remembered in such a bright light.
Visitation is scheduled for 9:30AM Saturday Feb. 14, 2015 at St. Paul's Catholic Church with the celebration of Mass to begin at 10AM. The burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
