Rosalio Casares Obituary
CASARES
Rosalio Casares Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 3, 2013 at the age of 82. Leo as he was best known was a retired Master Sergeant from the Army after a total of 44 years of combined service to the Marine Corps, the Air Force, the Army and Army Reserve. Among his many citations with both the purple heart, the Meritorious Service medal and the Bronze Star. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosalio and Rosa C. Casarez; son Robert R. Casares; sisters Rita Cape and Ofelia Guarjardo; brother Ralph Casarez. Rosalio is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Andrea Casares; daughters, Telma C. Douglass (Richard), Sonia C. Galvez ( Ram), Cynthia S. Garces (Ruben); son Leo R. Casares; sisters, Teresa Garza ( Jesse), Gloria Mize; brother Carlos Casarez (Florence); grandchildren, Carlos Sosa, Jason Sosa, Mark Martinez, Rene Martinez, Tyler Casares, Leo Casares Jr., Angela Carrillo, Samantha Schnebelen ; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. You may sign the online guestbook at www.missionparks.com, under the obituary section.
