Sarah Mauricio Obituary
Surrounded by her loving family, Sarah Mauricio was called home to be with our Lord on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at the age of 81. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy H. Mauricio; parents, Arturo and Santos Moreno; brothers, Wally Moreno and Carlos Lira; and grandson, Brandon Huizar. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Flores, Dorothy (Roger) Narvaez, Betty Mauricio, Sally Huizar, Rachel Mauricio, Sarah M. Mauricio (Jeff); 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Moses Ruiz, Emma Salas, Mary Lopez, Rafael Moreno; and other numerous relatives and friends. Visitation will begin on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 1 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Castillo Mission Funeral Home. A funeral procession will depart on Friday, January 4, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. Mass at St. John Berchman's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Catholic Cemetery III. The family expresses gratitude to New Century Hospice & Staff for the kind and compassionate care they provided Sarah on her final journey. Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home.
