ALEXANDER
Theodore (Ted) Bernard Alexander, age 95, born in Marlin, TX, wife of Gertrude (Boots) Alexander for over 14 years, died of natural causes at his home on December 6, 2012. He was a resident of San Antonio, TX, and former long-time resident of Plano, TX, and McAllen, TX.

Ted served in the Army of the United States and was a veteran of World War II. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal on February 23, 1946. Ted owned and operated a jewelry store in McAllen, TX for many years until retirement and would gladly talk business with anyone who would listen. He will be remembered for always having a smile on his face and bringing joy to everyone he interacted with. The last forty years of his life he and Boots were inseparable and they could be found at home holdings hands for hours and hours and he would say "I love you Boots" over and over.

Ted was preceded in death by his first wife Charlotte Alexander and his daughter Corinne (Corey) Adrian Tackett. Survivors include his wife Boots, his son-in-law Steve Tackett, his step-children Dee Escobedo, Geraldine Gomez, Gertrude Riojas, Marilyn Salas, John Salas, George Salas, Alice Sepulveda, his grandchildren Shawn Tackett and Joey Tackett, and a host of great-grandkids, nieces, and nephews.
