Vivian Irene Ahart, age 87, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2007. She was born in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska to Roy and Violet Bowden. Vivian worked for the State of California for over 20 years, retiring in 1982. Known for her wonderlust and love for travel, she settled in San Antonio 12 years ago. She was an animal lover and enjoyed working with her oil paints. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Warren Stevens of Nevada and Mary Ellen and Michael Brooks of California, son and daughter-in-law Timothy Metzler and wife Kay, brother Ken Bowden of Colorado and sister Ellen Claire Crannel of Nebraska, 9 Grandchildren and numerous Great-Grandchildren.
