MILLER
Scott Christopher Miller passed away February 7, 2014 at the age of 54.

A native San Antonian and 1977 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, Scott attended the University of Texas and Savannah College of Art and Design. Throughout his adult life he lived in Houston, Atlanta, and Dallas, gaining many friends through his engaging personality and quick wit. He spent many years working in the commercial real estate portfolio accounting field before moving back to San Antonio, where he attained his Real Estate license and began a career in Residential Real Estate with Wood Realty and Associates. He then moved to Kuper Sotheby's International Realty, where he worked his way up from being an agent's assistant to an office administrator, and finally an Assistant Sales Manager, a job that brought him great satisfaction and personal fulfillment because he was able to use his researching and interpersonal skills, as well as his attention to detail and his knowledge of architecture and design.

Though not technically careers, he pursued the following activities with gusto: Making and drinking Manhattans, shopping for clothing, art and furniture, and enjoying dance music from the 1970s and 80s.

He shared with his adoring spouse an admiration for mid-century modern art, furniture and architecture. He also taught his spouse how to correctly fold laundry, enjoy salads, use coupons, and properly bathe and dry an excited Jack Russell Terrier.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents Betty Miller and Jerry Odell Miller. He is survived by spouse Roderick Gonzales, his devoted dogs Addie and Rocky, aunts Shirley Lovell and Lorraine Garrett, cousins Kathy McClain, Lori Miller, Mindy Miller and Cheryl Mitchell, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers.

A celebration of Scott's life will take place on Tuesday February 18, from 6-8 pm at W. D. Deli, 3123 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78209. Since this is a celebration, we request that you wear party attire rather than "funeral" attire.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to contribute toward Scott's final expenses may do so through PayPal. The account listed as ScottMillerMemorial@gmail.com. Any questions may also be directed to that e-mail address.
