Frances Neyland Obituary
NEYLAND
Frances M. Neyland, age 84 of San Antonio, passed peacefully on Sunday morning, February 16, 2014. She was born on July 9, 1929 in Seguin, TX to David and Irma (Buch) Harborth. Frances was an active member of the women's auxiliary within the Northwest Optimist Club, commonly referred to as the Optimist Mrs. Club, where she managed many civic, social and philanthropic events. She was also a lifelong seamstress, and greatly enjoyed making clothing for her family, as well as accessorizing her home. Frances loved animals, and supported her daughter in many horse and dog endeavors. She was employed in Civil Service for over 35 years at Brooke Army Medical Center, Lackland AFB, and spent the majority of her career working in the Office of Personnel Management at Randolph AFB until her retirement in 1987. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Roland "Rex" Neyland, her parents and a brother, Harold Harborth. She is survived by her daughter, Pam; son-in-law, Curt; sister, Vivian Fox; brother-in-law, Jack Fox; and sister-in-law, Rae Harborth.

SERVICES

A Graveside Service will be on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Mission Burial Park Dominion North 20900 IH-10 West, followed by a Memorial Service at Trinity United Methodist Church, 6800 Wurzbach Rd. at 11:00 A.M. with a reception to follow at the Church.
