Seferino Soto Torres (Tio), went to be with the Lord and Angels in heaven on February 20, 2014 at the age of 93. He was born in Caldwell, Texas on January 8, 1921. He was a WW 11 Army veteran, retired after 33 years at Chrysler in Detroit, Michigan, was an avid Spurs fan, loved his family and family gatherings, believed in God and was devoted to his church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Dolores A. Torres, his parents, Edubeigen and Concepcion Torres, his brother, Alonso Torres and niece Paula Torres. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Victoria Torres ,cousins, Silvestre Torres and Margie (Felipe)Torres, Emilio (Mary)Torres; nieces, Ramona (Jose) Duran, Concepcion (Luis) Alanis, Herminia (Albert) Alanis, Mary Torres, Guadalupe (Alfred) Fernandez, Celia (Mitchel) Lopez, Rosie (Gabriel) Reschman and Cruz Torres; nephews, Alonso Torres, David (Yolanda) Torres, Manuel Torres, Daniel Torres and Alejandro Torres; numerous great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00A.M. Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 13715 Riggs Road, Helotes, TX 78023.Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with U.S. Army military honors.
