Luis Garza of Brownsville, TX, passed from this life at the age of 71 on February 13, 2014. He is survived by his wife, they were together 54 years. They met before he went to Vietnam while serving in the U.S. Navy. Luis graduated from Texas Southmost College and retired after working 31 years for Exxon Mobile. In 1978 he and Ofelia dedicated their lives to Jehovah through Baptism, he was a Pioneer. He was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. He worked hard and gave his family a great life, always enjoying his time with his family. Luis is preceded in death by his parents Camilo & Antonia Garza; brothers, Carlos& Antonio Garza, and granddaughter, Clarissa Marie Perez. Mr. Garza is survived by his wife Maria Ofelia Garza; children, Luis Garza Jr. (Rita), Deborah Ann Garza (Manuel), Diane Marie Garthe, Sarah Jane Hankins (Jason); grandchildren, Rebekah Nicole, Caleb Austin, Isiah Lewis, John Anthony, Allison Marie, Jasmine Marie & Jacob Ryan; 17 brothers& sisters. Special thanks to all who showed their love & support, especially the Windcrest Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld (Hebrews 11:1).
