WITTE
On February 28, 2014 MSgt. Jesse J. Witte, Jr. joined his wife Kathleen, united with their Savior Jesus Christ. Kathleen predeceased Jesse in 2011. He and Kathleen were married February 4, 1959. Surviving Jesse are George Anderson, brother-in-law; Joan Wallace, sister-in-law; nieces, Patricia Anderson, Cindy Blanks, Kay Bramlett, Elizabeth Harwell and Barbara Jensen; as well as nephew, Carl Anderson; and great grandnieces and nephews. Jesse was born to Hulda (Olfers) and Jesse J. Witte Sr. on August 16, 1931. Except for military services, he lived in San Antonio all his life. He served in the USAF for 4 years, retiring in 1954 and the US National Guard retiring as a MSGT. He was a member of the Grand Lodge Sons of Herman, a Shriner and an active member of the Masons in the past. He and Kathleen loved bowling and belonged to several leagues. They loved their pet dachshunds over the years especially Penny. Jesse's relatives extend heartfelt thanks to Patricia and George Anderson for their many acts of kindness during Jesse's disability.
